There will be a total of 76 questions in the CAT 2021. For each correct answer, candidates will score 3 marks. For each wrong answer in the objective questions, candidates will get a negative marking of 1 mark. There will be no negative marks in the subjective questions. CAT Exam 2021- Marking Scheme. CAT exam pattern includes a marking scheme under which candidates will get to know total marks awarded for each correct answer and marks that must be deducted for the wrong answer. For each correct answer, three marks are awarded. For each wrong answer, one marks will be deducted.

Multiply cgpa with 9.5. Example- 10 cgpa × 9.5 = 95%. Maximum marks - no. Of subjects in your marksheet × 100. Example : If you studied five subjects in class 10th and each of them are mentioned in your marksheet so the maximum marks is 500. Marks obtained - cgpa is 10 ( say) I.e 95% so. 95% of 500 which is 475.
